Barton Creek Productions, LLC in Raleigh NC was founded in 2000 by Raleigh native Gardner Reynolds. Gardner has been an independent producer and production company owner in both audio and video for 18 years.
Gardner has lived his life in production. From the 5th grade when he was asked to run the 16mm film projectors for his schools presentations, to the sets of dozens of
Southern California television and film productions and KTLA sound studios, to his Raleigh-based Barton Creek Productions, Gardner has
more than 23 years of production experience to share with his clients.
Gardner Reynolds is a Raleigh native. Although living here most of his professional life, Gardner learned the art of audio and video production in Boston, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Ohio. While studying music at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA in 1983, Gardner relocated to Hollywood, CA where he studied and graduated from the Musicians Institute of Technology. While residing in the L.A. area for six years, Gardner landed roles in front of the camera in many productions including "Fast Times at Ridgemont High," Budweiser, Mt. Dew, and other commercials, and acquired his entrance into the Screen Actors Guild. Also while in L.A., Gardner worked at KTLA sound studios on sets for many productions including Let’s Make A Deal, Jeopardy, and others.
After returning home to North Carolina and graduating from UNCG, Gardner launched, managed and owned the prestigious
Osceola Recording Studios in
Raleigh. Osceola is still one of the premier studios in North Carolina, recording nationally-acclaimed artists such as Blues Traveler, Lynard Skynard, Clay Aiken, Velvet Revolver and The Connells. (See
www.osceolastudios.com.) Gardner was one of the first engineers to work with Clay Aiken in his early career here in Raleigh.
As a songwriter and musician, Gardner and band mates opened up for acts such as Greg Allman and the Georgia Satellites and he recorded and produced two
CD's of co-written songs. As a music producer and audio engineer, Gardner has produced dozens of full-length CD recordings and hundreds of local artists to his credit.
After putting God first in his life in 1998, God brought many positive changes to his career and personal life including his marriage to wife Beth. With a new vision and desire to join the Digital Revolution in production, Gardner sold Osceola Studios in 2000, and his passion for video, photography, audio and related technology inspired him to launch Barton Creek Productions. Today, Gardner and his Barton Creek staff capture more than 50 productions a year including
corporate events, high-end weddings, family biographies, athletic events and art performances, sports videos, hunting videos, church ministry and corporate training
sessions.
